I will venture into my babashka's history as well as her world of cooking. Her world was a difficult one at times, yet incredibly fascinating. I will try to document her stories to my best ability. As for her cooking, she doesn't per say have recipes or a method to her madness. I want to learn her Russian/Jewish foods and re-create them to taste as delicious as hers. Really, I just want to grow closer with my babashka by getting in touch with her past and understand why she is who she is today.
